One of the many reasons I like so much about Busan is there are so many camellia trees here. There is one place near HaeWoonDae Beach (해운대해수욕장) called Camellia Island (Dongbaekseom, 동백섬).
This is a land-connected island where you can walk its beautiful walking trails and see hundreds and thousands of camellia flowers if you visit at the right time of year. The flower blossom from late autumn (November) to early spring all depends on the locations of each tree, climate, and amount of sunlight it receives.
This is a beautiful place where many international conferences and meetings have taken place. I recommend you visit the island if you are in Busan.
